Moleskines
72Using A Moleskine Journal & Small Calendar Can Boost Your Productivity
How To Get The Most Out Of Your Next Live Conference
Moleskines have been around for a while. I have actually been given notebooks that resembled Moleskines but I had never heard the name before.
I recently attended a live event called Social Profit Formula Live put on by Don Crowther. He gave a webinar about a week before the live event on how to get the most out of the live event. It is just not practical to take notes on a laptop and it is too distracting to take notes on a computer.
Don explained how taking notes on a Moleskine notebook keeps him organized. He is able to refer back to previous conferences and retrieve notes from several years ago. He even uses a smaller moleskine calendar for his daily to do list.
Ecosystem Notebook
Hubpages Gave Out A Type Of Moleskine At Hubcamp!
Other People In The Class Said That They Preferred Ecosystem Notebooks
I tried to buy the Ecosystem because I think they have brighter colors and I was told that Barnes and Noble carries them but they didn't have them at my Barnes and Noble.
On My way To the Live Event I saw PaperBlanks which are an upscale type of Moleskine!
The Paperblanks would be a great gift for anyone, especially busy women!
You can see the Moleskines to the right of the Paperblanks.
Most of the Moleskine type of notebooks have a place to put business cards or papers in the back.
In fact one law student glued little holders on his small Moleskine so it would hold his credit cards and now he only carries his small moleskine and no wallet!
I loved the Notebook that I got at Hubcamp so much that I took it on a 4 day road trip and my neighbor and I planned out an eight week class from beginning to end. It was a great tool!
Also the pen that people are recommending is a pilot G-2

Joan Stewart is always on the cutting edge! Here is Joan with her Moleskine and if you are not following her you should go to PublicityHound.com. She used to be a newspaper reporter and now she teaches people how to market online.
Joan always has great content and ideas. It is no surprise that Don Crowther is one of her mentors!
Most people use lined Moleskine Journals to take notes. Mike Keonigs of Traffic Geyser says that he prefers the Moleskines that are plain and have no lines.
Richard Wineberg bought a Moleskine for himself and his son, Paul pictured below. They came from Australia! Richard is an author, speaker and coach.
Here is a tip for your next live conference on networking. Take a picture of everyone you meet. Make sure you get a shot of their nametag so you will remember them!
Taking a picture breaks the ice and I felt like I could just go up to someone and not feel weird. I did not get pictures of everyone!
Darren Clifford and his brother own Localinternetleads.com I worked with him on an exercise and he knows a lot about local internet marketing!
Here is Isaac Osei Kissi from YoungAfricanRising.com with his Moleskine of course
Steven Thornburgh with his Moleskine!
These are just a few of the people that I met.
I ended up taking my notes in a book called journalbooks. This notebook was given to me by a company called BDA in Woodinville, WA. I taught their employees how to stop smoking with my program called Nicotine Solutions.
It is the first time I have taken notes that are orderly. I have already referred back to my notes many times and normally I would have put the book and cards in a drawer never to be seen again.
Most People like the lined journals but Mike Keonigs from Traffic Geyser says that he prefers the unlined Moleskines because it makes him feel more creative.
